The Job

The role

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the effective performance, productivity and well-being of a small team which dependent on the contract they are assigned to may include a variety of the team. Team leaders coach and develop their team to exceed their targets and play an integral role in the holistic success of a designated site.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Leading and motivating your team, driving performance and continuous improvement this will include performance management meetings and regular informal 1-to-1 reviews with team.
  • Supporting the Business Manager with the pre-validation checks of files, planning outreach and liaison with referrals sources to ensure sufficient put throughput of new customers.
  • Offering technical support and advice for their team i.e. Better Off Calculations, advice and guidance and mock interviews.
  • Completion of accurate KPI forecasting on a monthly basis in relation to their team to be reviewed on a daily and weekly basis.

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience of people management including supporting, mentoring, coaching and developing a small team of individuals.
  • Desire to progress into a management role within a supportive but fast paced sales environment, including the monitoring of individuals and team performance.
  • A personal track record of working towards and achieving targets (minimum 1 year experience) gained in an Employment Adviser or Employment Trainer or equivalent role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)
  • Experience of employer engagement and learner/Member tracking.
  • Personal interests including interest in people and willingness to learn.

This role is being offered on a full time basis in the Sheffield area. There is a 2 stage interview process involved.

My client is offering a salary of between £28000 - £32000 plus a benefits package which includes, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, flexi hours, pension scheme, life assurance, medical cash plan, critical illness cover, personal and profession development funds and a comprehensive induction.
