Job description

My client is a leading independent technology partner and global integrator, specialising in providing end-to-end connectivity solutions that propel organisations everywhere.

The perfect candidate will take over the full responsibility for the Procurement activities in Germany whilst supporting the Global Procurement team when required.

The role has been created to support, influence and contribute to the overall strategic direction and operational performance of the organisation, enabling the adoption and following of a commercial transformation of procurement across the Group.

Your role:

• Sourcing best quality materials
• Evaluation of suppliers and their production and sales capacities
• Building strategic supplier relationships
• Ensuring ordering and timely delivery of materials
• Review of existing contracts & price negotiations
• Predicting costs, availability and suitability of materials
• Solving problems with suppliers
• Updating and maintaining the procurement system
• Preparing required reports and analysis

What my client is looking for:

• Fluent German (advantageous) & English (written & spoken)
• Experience in data network procurement and strategic procurement management
• Manage the vendor suppliers, negotiation and support manager procurement generalist
• CIPS - or working towards
• broad experience in different categories such as - technology, marketing, professional services.
• Extensive stakeholder management experience (internal and external).
• Excellent skills in building new business relationships, sourcing new suppliers
• Experience in Sage Line 500
